Acrylic + Paint

This medium explores painting with clear acrylic sheets, where individual compositions are suspended across multiple sheets before being permanently fused into a single sculptural form.

Each layer is painted independently using acrylic and oil paint, allowing elements to exist at different depths within the piece. Once complete, the sheets are aligned and bonded along their perimeter using solvent welding, transforming the stack into a unified, solid object. This process preserves the separation between layers while visually compressing them into a cohesive whole.

As the viewer moves, imagery shifts and reconfigures, creating a dynamic scene between foreground and background. Depth is not implied like with most traditional paintings but physically constructed.
