‘Harbour Homage’ is a tribute to the birthplace of Mass Medium Studios: Sydney, Australia. Specifically, the Balmain peninsula, where there is an abundance of rich history, scenery, and culture. Located on Wangal Country, Mass Medium Studio acknowledges the Wangal people of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of this land and waters.

Constructed across multiple sheets of clear acrylic, the work uses physical depth to echo the multilayered nature of the harbour. Inspired by the layered works of Dustin Yellin, the piece moves beyond a traditional flat image, inviting the viewer to look both through and into the landscape.
